NEW HAMPTON - Opal Mae Stanton, 95, of New Hampton, died Friday, July 15, 2005m at Mercy Medical Center, New Hampton.
She was born Nov. 24, 1909, in Rock Falls, daughter of Leonard F. and Mae E. Wyborney Heiny. She married Wayne Stanton Dec. 4, 1933, in Austin, Minn.
She graduated from high school in Medina, N.D., in 1929. Mrs. Stanton farmed with her husband and their children.
Survived by her husband; a son, Duane (Marilyn) of New Hampton; two daughters, Eleanor (Kenneth) Hollerud of Austin and Dorothy Beyer of New Hampton; 10 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; and a brother Sid (Eileen) Heiny of Austin.
Preceded in death by a daughter, Barbara Chapman; two sons-in-law, Jack Chapman and Delbert Beyer; three brothers, George, Leonard and Jim; and three sisters, Wilma, Goldie and Doris.
Services: 3 p.m. today at First Baptist Church, New Hampton, with burial in the New Hampton Cemetery. Friends may call for an hour before services today at the church. Conway-Kolbet Funeral Home, New Hampton, is in charge of arrangements.
