June B. Kamrath, 76, of New Hampton, Iowa, died Sunday, February 28, in New Hampton.
We invite you to join us for a Celebration of June’s Life, to be held from 4 -7 p.m. Thursday, March 4, in the Fellowship Hall at Trinity Lutheran Church, New Hampton. A tribute to June and a time for sharing will begin at 6 p.m.
June Betty Kamrath was born on June 22, 1933, to Edward and Sylvia (Klossowsky) Linkemeyer in New Hampton. June graduated from New Hampton High School in 1951. She was united in marriage to Robert K. Kamrath on October 14, 1952 at Trinity Lutheran Church in New Hampton. Bob and June had two children Deb and Cindy. June was employed as a bookkeeper all of her professional life.
Her life was devoted to her family, her pride in her work, and her compassion for others. She inspired and encouraged friends and family with her hand written letters. We will miss her creative spirit and homemade cookies! As a family, we thank her for her unconditional love and quiet strength.
She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and the American Legion Auxiliary.
June is survived by her husband Robert of 57 years; two daughters Deb and Tom Speltz of New Hampton and Cindy Perry of Louisville, Kentucky; two grandsons Jason Speltz of New Hampton, and Michael Perry of Louisville, Kentucky.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and two grandsons Alexander and Ryan Speltz.

A Celebration of Junes Life will be held from 4:00pm-7:00pm on Thursday, March 4, 2010 at Trinity Lutheran Church Fellowship Hall with a time of sharing at 6:00pm.
