NASHUA - Larry Kramer Botine, 68, of Nashua, formerly of Scottsdale and Prescott, Ariz., died at home Thursday, Feb. 12, 2009.

He was born July 23, 1940, in Pocahontas, son of John Edward and Minnie T. Kramer Botine. He married Rita Rensi on Sept. 24, 1976, in Las Vegas.

Mr. Botine graduated from Pocahontas High School in 1958 and later earned a bachelor's degree in business and finance from Mankato State University in Minnesota. He was a finical advisor for First Interstate Bank, Scottsdale, for 28 years. He also worked for TCF Bank, Minneapolis, and for True Value, Prescott, for over seven years. He was a member of Bethany Alliance Church, Charles City.

Survived by his wife; a daughter, Debi Bratrsovsky of Fort Morgan, Colo.; four grandchildren; a brother, Paul of Cedar Rapids; and a sister, Marlene Havlik of Nashua.

Preceded in death by a brother, Norman.

Memorial services and inurnment will take place at a later date. Hugeback & Chenoweth Funeral Home, Nashua, is in charge of arrangements.
