Little One Dies Phosphorus Poison

Our people had not recovered from the shock caused by the sudden death of F. A. Young when word was passed along the street of the death of little Ralph Bills. Mr. and Mrs. Bills have lived in Fayette only a short time and the blow coming to them when among strangers was particularly hard. The sympathy of the entire community is extended to them in their bereavement.

Ralph Irving Bills was born at New Hampton, Iowa on December 23, 1909, and died at Fayette October 28, 1911 at 2:30 a.m. His death resulted from phosphorous poisoning caused by eating matches.

The funeral services were held at the house Sunday at 1 p.m., burial at Center Grove Cemetery, Rev. D. M. Parker conducting the services.
