Louise M. Clapsaddle February 25, 1923 - March 14, 2004

Services will be held at: 1:00 P.M. on Thursday, March 18 at the Faith Assembly of God in Marshalltown, Iowa with Pastor D. Morraine officiating. Burial will follow services at the East Lawn Memory Gardens in Eldora.

Louise was born February 25, 1923 in Nashua, Iowa the daughter of A.M. (Jim) and Bessie (March) Crosser. Louise was raised and educated in rural Whitten where she graduated from High School.

On December 4, 1943 she was united in marriage to George S. Clapsaddle. Following George’s military service in the United States Army they made their home in Whitten. Throughout their married life Louise and George remained in the Whitten community where her they farmed and operated Clapsaddle Sales and Service. Louise was a member of and attended Faith Assembly of God Church with her family. She was a member of the White Shrine and served as WHP and most recently as Worthy Scribe for many years. Louise was also a member of the Eastern Star where she served as a treasurer, Social Order of Beauceant and Daughters of the Nile.

Louise is survived by her daughter Sandra Smith of Eldora, her son George Jeffrey (Sue) Conrad, her grandchildren Troy (Tammy) McDonald of Eldora, Iowa, George Joseph Clapsaddle of Eldora, James Clapsaddle of Conrad, Tristan and Tyson Switzer of Conrad, Stacey (Chris) Frerichs of Des Moines, Jason (Kellie) Smith of Eldora and her greatgrandchildren: Melinda, Hannah, and Justyn.

Louise was preceded in death by her parents, her husband George and her son-in-law Richard. Luke: 23:43
