Robert C. Demro, 85, of Nashua, died Sunday June 8, 2008, at Allen Memorial Hospital Waterloo.

He was born July 9, 1922 in Bena, MN, son of Christian and Alvina Reuter Demro. After serving in WWII he returned home and went into the family masonry business Demro Brothers Construction with his brother Floyd. He graduated from Nashua High School.

He married Joan K. Henke November 21, 1951 in Charles City and they were later divorced.

He is survived by his companion Patricia Adams of Charles City, three daughters: Kathryn Pflibsen of Nashua, Judy (Mike) Nevins of Dallas, TX, and Patty Demro of Houston, TX; a grandson Benjamin Pflibsen of Charles City and a sister Ruthie.

Preceded in death by two brothers Jim and Floyd Demro.

As per Roberts request there will be no visitation or service. A family conducted celebration of life will be held at a later date. Hagarty Waychoff Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway is assisting the family.
