Glenn L. Housand, 86, of 309 10th St. W., Bradenton died Thursday at a local nursing home.

Born in Brooklyn, Ind., he came to Bradenton from Nashua, Iowa 22 years ago.

He was a retired barber and a member of the Mooresville Lodge No. 78 F&AM, Mooresville, Ind., O.E.S. No. 248 Nashua, Iowa, York Rite Bodies, Charles City, Iowa.

He leaves a sister, Mrs. Mary Knight, of Franklin, Ind.; and two nieces, Mrs. Elaine Bruce of Green, Iowa, and Mrs. Noami Ulrich of Des Moines, Iowa.

The Reid Funeral Home of Greene, Iowa is in charge of arrangements for the funeral service and burial. Griffith-Cline Funeral Home of Bradenton was in charge of local plans.
