A WATERY GRAVE

Oscar Shake, of Nashua, is Drowned in Clear Lake while Bathing Horses.

A sad drowning occurred at Clear Lake yesterday. The unfortunate victim was Oscar Shake, a young man, 17 years of age, whose home is at Nashua.

He was working in a livery barn at Clear Lake and about 10 o'clock yesterday morning was swimming some horses in the lake when in some manner he got beyond his depth and was drowned. His remains arrived from Clear Lake on the train this morning and were taken to the home of his father in Nashua, where the funeral will be held tomorrow.
