I am looking for information about my Grandfather and any of his ancestors. This is what I have been told:

Lue Robert Kenny was born April 7, 1876, as James Robert Scott, in Cherokee County, Iowa. He was the son of James M. Scott and ??. His mother apparently died when he was 3 days old. He was adopted in Cherokee by Mary (Collins) and Levi Rice Kenny on May 25, 1876. Lue had one brother, Winfield Scott, and two sisters.
