I have 3 PHOTOS on the Cherokee County Site(USGenWeb) in the hope that perhaps someone will be able to identify these people.

I received a response to an earlier query which led me to meeting a second cousin and her daughter who now live in Custer, SD. Our great grandparents were Peter C. and Mary Nelson who lived in Aurelia area. His obituary says that they lived there for 18 years. I found them in the 1880 census of Afton Twp, Cherokee, IA.
