Geneva 'Neva' McMurrin was my great grandmother. She died in Oregon, late 80's I believe, probably Multnomah County.
Geneva married Walter Kirsch when she was about 19. They drove to Oregon during the depression. You'll find them in the 1930 Oregon census in "Old German Town", southwest Portland.
https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/XCS4-41N.They had about 7 kids. Their children included Cletus, Carvil, Geneva, Jane, Robert and Gerald, not in that order and there may have been another child.
The youngest sibling of Neva's family moved to Oregon as well. He lived in Seaside Oregon, married a women named Kolani, may have been a second marriage. I have always heard him referred to as "Uncle Red", and don't know his given name.
Walter worked in government construction projects, including building Timberline Lodge while living at Government Camp. Gerald, Jerry, went into construction. Bob moved to Kansas after WWII. Cletus, was a Pentecostal preacher in southern Washington and northern Oregon, Geneva, the daughter moved to Arizona, Jane stayed in the Portland area.
Geneva divorced Walter, and remarried once or twice, we called her by the last husbands (Herbert Irv Averill) surname Averill. https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/VZHP-438
