1920 Census name

WINES

In searching the net, I have found one reference to a William Wines in the 1820 Cherokee County, IA census.

Although there is an online copy of the census in its original handwriting in the Cherokee County site, it shows up too small to search on the net.

Is there anyone who has access to the census that would be willing to look at and find the name of William Wines and send me the information found there, I'd really appreciate it and thank you for it.

In 1820 he would probably appear as a married man, although he might have been single yet. He would have been 29 years old, having been mustered out of the army in 1819. His place of discharge was Ft. Osage in Missouri on the river near present-day Kansas City.

William Wines, my gggrandfather arrived in Greene County, Illinois in 1825 but I'm trying to find his whereabouts between 1819 and 1825 since he was married during that time and I would like to have place and date of his marriage.

If you can help, great; if you can't, but can direct me to someone or some source for help, I'll appreciate it.

Thanks for reading this and let me say "Thanks" to you for trying to help a budding amateur genealogist!
