hitting a brick wall.....HELP!!

Hi. I am searching for information on my g-grandparents. My g-grandmother was born Hattie (Harriett) DeMorris, the daughter of Andrew Demorris and Katherine Mattice. Hattie had one son who was born in Taylor Co., Wisconsin with the name Harry Andrew MAHONEY (on his birth certificate, his father is listed as James Mahoney). Harry was adopted by his uncle George DeMorris and Harry's name was changed to Chester DeMorris. Hattie later had another son named Vernon Lee Madden, although he is the son of William Wilmot. 4 or 5 years later, in 1904, Hattie married John MADDEN, my g-grandfather, and they had 10 children.
I am looking for any information on Hattie's family and on John's family. I do not know John's parents at all...except that they were from Ohio and had aquaintances/family in Bloomington, IL. Hattie's father, Andrew, is supposedly French-Canadian and met her mother in New York state.
ANY information on ANY of these families...MADDEN, DEMORRIS, MAHONEY would be immensely appreciated...especially census information. I have Andrew's 1900 census location, but need 1910, 1920, and 1930.
