Patrick J. Moorhead, 55, of Tucson, Ariz., formerly of Cherokee, died June 4, 2004 in Tucson. Burial was in Tucson.

Moorhead was born November 21, 1948 in Albuquerque, N.M. He graduated from Cherokee High School and then took instruction in Omaha to learn the heating and air conditioning business. He served in the Vietnam War; recently suffering symptoms of Agent Orange and was accepted at Baylor Hospital in Dallas, Texas for a liver transplant. However, time ran out, his kidneys failed which brought on his death.

Pat is survived by his wife Linda and son, Rodney, of Tucson and his mother, Mildred Moorehead of Cherokee. (Source: Former Cherokee County Historical Society Scrapbook. Clipping is dated Monday, July 19, 2004)
