Doris Johnson, 66, Cherokee
Mrs. Edwin (Doris June) Johnson, 66, Cherokee, died Wednesday at her home following a long illness. Greenwood Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Her body was donated to the University of Iowa department of anatomy. Her body will be cremated at a later date.

She was born June 16, 1925 to Mr. and Mrs. DeForest Steward. She attended school in Cherokee, graduating from Wilson High School. On March 10, 1944, she married Edwin Johnson.

She is survived by her husband; three brothers, Lloyd Steward and his wife Margaret, Cherokee; Louis Steward, Cherokee; Wayne Steward, Storm Lake; five sisters, Mrs. Fern Wilson, Stockton, Calif.; Mrs. Lester (Irma) Thurman, of Joplin, Mo.; Mrs. Velma Martin and Mrs. Beverly Swanson both of Cherokee, and Mrs. Delmer (Betty) McGowan, Storm Lake.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother.
