CLEGHORN – Lori A. Jarmuzek, 17, Cleghorn, died Friday in the Marian Health Center, Sioux City, after a brief illness.

She was born at Virginia, Minn. She moved to Cleghorn from St. Cloud, Minn., in 1967.

Miss Jarmuzek was a student at Meriden-Cleghorn High School. She had worked for the CETA Program, the Cherokee County Historical Society and the Cherokee Mental Health Institute. She was affiliated with the Meriden Evangelical Free Church and was a member of the Concerned Christians for the Youth of Cherokee County.

Survivors include her mother, Mrs. Betty Reinert, Cleghorn; her stepfather, Richard Reinert, Cherokee; brothers, Terry Jarmuzek, Ft. Campbell, Ky.; and Dick Reinert, Cleghorn; a sister Michelle Reinert, Cleghorn; grandparents Mrs. Theresa Jarmuzek, Monticello, Minn.; Mrs. and Mrs. Clayton Reinert, Cherokee, and a great-grandmother, Mrs. Mary Reinert, Cherokee.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in the Meriden Evangelical Free Church. Burial will be in the Meriden Cemetery under the direction of the Boothby Funeral Home.
