DIED – At Odell, Nebraska, January 12, 1886, Rosa, wife of Frank J. Stanosheck, at the age of 30 years, 7 months and 8 days.

Mrs. Stanosheck was well known in this city. She was the daughter of the late M. Vandercook and Mrs. J. Vandercook, and her home was here from 1869 until she removed with her husband about two years ago, to Odell. Her remains were brought here on Thursday of last week, and her funeral held on Friday, the services being conducted at the home of her mother, and the remains being interred at Oak Hill.

In their deep affliction, Mrs. Stanosheck and the mother, sisters, and brother of the deceased, have the full sympathy of our entire community. Death comes into the world and with ruthless hand parts the cords of love and affection which bind human hearts together, marks his victim for his own, and is gone, leaving as a bequest to those who remain only a legacy of tears and of heart burnings. Only sympathy can be given the stricken friends, and we know it is extended to Mr. Stanosheck, to Mrs. Vandercook and to the sisters and brother, in fullest measure.
