Emil E. Olson, 90, of Larrabee died suddenly Tuesday at Everett, Wash., after having flown there on Monday with a granddaughter to visit his son. Having lived at Larrabee for the past 20 years, he had farmed in Sheridan Township.
He was born April 19, 1879 in Sweden, coming to United States at the age of 11 years. He was married to Hilma Johnson.
He was a member of the IOOF Lodge.
Preceding him in death were his wife in 1943; also a daughter, four brothers and six sisters.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Edna Potter of Hayfork, Calif., Mrs. Bert Lundell, Cleghorn and Mrs. Merle Prunty, Marcus and a son Ben Olson, Everett, Wash.; also 19 grandchildren, 45 great grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Monday at Boothby Funeral Home with rev. Earl Gunsolley officiating. Burial was in Liberty Cemetery.
