Mrs. Ella Mueller Ware, 93, died Sunday, Jan. 13, 1991 at 4:35 a.m. in the Baum-Harmon Memorial Hospital at Primghar following a short illness.
Funeral services will be held Friday, Jan. 18, 1991 at 2 p.m. from the Trinity Lutheran Church in Cherokee. Pastor Jeffrey Krueger and Pastor Charles Kramer will officiate. Burial will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery at Cherokee. There will be a family prayer service at 1:45 p.m. at the church on Friday. The Boothby Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
She was born on Feb. 9, 1897 at rural Peterson to William and Sophia Gabbers Luetkeman. She was married to Ben W. Mueller on Nov. 20, 1919 at rural Peterson. He died on Dec. 26, 1960. She then was married to Albert Ware on March 9, 1969 at Cherokee and he died on Sept 2, 1972.
She had been living with her grandson, Bob McLaughlin, on a farm southwest of Paullina since November of 1990 and prior to this was a longtime Cherokee area resident.
She was amember of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Cherokee and was a member of the Ladies Aide.
She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Verna and Bill McLaughlin, Clearwater, Fla.; one son and daughter-in-law, Ralph and Rose Mueller of Omaha, Neb.; one son-in-law, Levi Sutton, of Cambridge; 12 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren; two brothers, Ed Luetkeman and Leonard Luetkeman, both of Aurelia.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter Mrs. Pauline Sutton in November of 1988; two grandchildren; three brothers; and seven sisters.
