MARGUERITE WETROSKY (1913 - 1993)

Mrs. Frank (Marguerite) Wetrosky, 80, of Cherokee, died July 20, at the home of her daughter.

Funeral services will be held July 23, at 1:30 p.m. from the Trinity Lutheran Church in Cherokee. Pastor Jeff Krueger will officiate. Burial will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery. There will be a family prayer service at 1:15 p.m. at the Church on Friday. The Boothby Funeral Home has charge of the arrangements.

She was born May 3, 1913, in Cherokee to Roy and Voilet McGuire Wadsley. She attended Cherokee Schools. She was married to Frank Wetrosky on June 20, 1931 at Merrill. She had worked for Hawley Allison Co., for several years. She also owned and operated Marg's Knitting Basket for a number of years. She had lived in Cherokee all her life. She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband on Dec. 9, 1989; and a son-in-law Keith Wieland.

She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Joy and Dan Sweet of Cherokee; one granddaughter and her husband, Sandy and Greg Stephenson of Cherokee; three great grandchildren, Mark, Eric and Kayla Stephenson; also two step-grandchildren, Brenda Baney and Jodi Cedar; also six step great-grandchildren.
