MRS. IKE (ANNA F.) WILSON (1909 - 1969)

Mrs. Ike (Anna F.) Wilson, 59, who lived at 423 east Spruce here, died unexpectedly at her home at 11:30 p.m. Saturday. The daughter of Bernard and Katherine Peters Albers, she was born Sept 30, 1909 in Rock Township, Cherokee County, Iowa and had lived her entire life in the county.

She was married to Melvin C. (Ike) Wilson in Cherokee on April 23, 1950. For the past 30 years she had lived in Cherokee.

Employed at the Cherokee Laundry and Laundromat, she had retired eight years ago due to ill health.

Surviving are the husband, Melvin of Cherokee; two sisters, Mrs. Ed Eischen, Cherokee and Mrs. Henry Umhoefer, Albuquerque, N. M.; and two brothers, Bruno and Gerhard Albers, both of Sioux City.

Her parents, two brothers, George and John Albers, and two sisters Agnes Albers and Mrs. John (Mary) Umhoefer preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Greenwood Funeral Home with Father Robert waters officiating. Burial will be in Visitation Cemetery at Maryhill.

The Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
