Marcus News: Mrs. Francis Garvin died at her home in Marcus township on Monday last after a long and painful illness. Mrs. Garvin was the mother of several children and an old settler in this county. She came to Marcus from Canada at an early date and has since resided here. She was over seventy years of age and in life time was loved and respected by all who knew her. The remains were interred in the Catholic cemetery Wednesday from the Catholic church. Rev Phelan officiating
