Janice Joan Fuhrman, 17, who lives at 301 West Elm, died Thursday at 9:45 pm in Cherokee, 24 hours after the fatal accident south of Cherokee which caused her death.
She was born in Cherokee April 6, 1948 and was a life-long resident of Cherokee. Having attended Cherokee schools, she had completed her sophomore year in High School.
Survivors include her parents, Mr and Mrs. Walter Fuhrman, Cherokee; two brothers, Gary Fuhrman of Cherokee and Gerald at home; two sisters, Mrs. Ronald (Gayle) Messerole of Cherokee and Jeannette at home. A grandmother, Mrs. Iva Witcomb of Cherokee also survives.
A sister, Janet, preceded her in death December 1944.
Funeral services will be Monday at 2 pm from St. Paul's Methodist Church. Rev. Victor V. Schuldt is to officiate and burial will be in Washta Cemetery. Boothby Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
