The funeral of Miss Minnie Donahoe

The remains of Miss Minnie Donahoe who died In Chicago on Sunday were brought to her old home at Cherokee for interment. The funeral was held there on Wednesday and John Donahoe of LeMars, and Ed Donahoe of Missouri Valley went there to attend the funeral.

She was born at Galena, Illinois, in 1872. She leaves a mother and two sisters and two brothers. Her mother and brother Ed and sister Anna were with her when she expired.

Miss Donahoe was one of the prominent teachers in the public schools, having taught at Remsen for several years and going to Chicago several years ago where she took an advanced position in the city schools. She was a very able teacher and a young lady of charming personality and Christian character and her demise will be deeply mourned in Remsen where her many virtues were so
