Eva Lou Coburn (Grauer), 77, of Fountain Hills passed away on March 12, 2017.
Eva was a much loved wife, mother, grandmother and friend to many. Her kindness, thoughtfulness, faith and talents as a gifted soprano singer brought joy to the hearts of everyone she touched.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years, John Coburn Jr.; sons, John Coburn III and Ward Coburn; and four grandchildren, John IV (fiancée Grace), Grace, Daniel (wife, Chelsey), and Steven (wife, Shalyn).
Born and raised in Marcus, Iowa, Eva was the youngest of seven Grauer family siblings, all of whom predeceased her.
Eva and John moved to Oregon in 1960, where she held successful careers as a physician’s assistant, and then in the executive headquarters of a regional pharmaceutical retailer.
Eva and John moved to Fountain Hills in 2000 following their retirement. She devoted much time to being a talented public singer, supporting her church, and being a gifted chef. She is greatly missed by all those who were fortunate enough to know and love her.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 22, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, 13770 North Fountain Hills Blvd. Friends and loved ones are welcome to join in the celebration of everlasting life.
