Quimby — Ferdinand Carstens, 68, died at 6:00 o'clock Friday evening at his home in Willow township near Quimby. He had been in failing health for the last. Few years and had been critically ill the past few weeks.

He is survived by his wife and seven children, Emil Carstens near Washta; Mrs. Roy Robinson of Chicago, Illinois, Albert Carstens, who lives in Spokane, Wash.; Peter. W., Will, Ernest and Ella Carstens at home

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 o’clock Monday, afternoon from the Methodist church in Quimby; Burial will be in the Quimby cemetery. Rev. H. G. Dawes will be in charge of services. Appleyard and Boothby funeral home in charge
