Miss Edna Bernice Spear, daughter of Mrs. M. Marsh of this city, was born Feb. 18, 1896, in Cherokee county, Iowa.

The deceased was 21 years, 1 month and 14 days of age at the time of her death. After an illness of three months she passed away at 12:45 p.m., Sunday, April 1.

She leaves besides her mother, Mrs. M. Marsh, one brother and one sister, Byron G. of this city and Iowa Spear of Ft. Dodge, Iowa; also her father S. W. Spear of Spokane, Wash.

The funeral was conducted at the home on West Cedar street Tuesday afternoon by W. D. Crewdson, pastor of the Church of Christ.
