Sudden Death.
Wm. Dick, the carpenter, died at his home in Cherokee very suddenly this morning. He had been complaining of feeling badly for some time, but was able to be out at lodge meeting last night. His complaint was supposed to be the prevailing one—la grippe. He had a badly swollen thumb, which was causing him much pain and last night an injection of morphine was administered. During the night he grew worse and the announcement this morning that he is dead is a surprise to everyone. He leaves a wife and four children.
