OBITUARY Marion Grant Jackson was born at Vinton, Benton Co., Iowa, Feb. 18, 1866. He moved with his parents to Avoca, Iowa, at 12 years of age. grew to manhood and was married at that place to Matilda Jane Tague, Feb 21, 1886.

To this union was born four children. He came with his family to Cherokee county Jan. 1, 1902, where he resided until he passed away at his home 5 miles west of Washta February 11, 1924 at the age of 57 years, 4 months and 26 days.

He leaves to mourn his departure his loving wife and his four children. Orie, Inez and Mrs. Alice Barwick all of Washta, Mrs. Henry Zoffka of Council Bluffs, Iowa, four grandchildren, Bernice and Beryl Ramsden , Buck and LaVonne Barwick. one brother, Sam Jackson of Washta and two sisters. Mrs. S M Hahn and Mrs. R Conley of Athol, Kansas.
