Carl P. Rupp

Carl P. Rupp, 58, Cherokee died Thursday at the Sioux Valley Hospital at Cherokee. Funeral Services wil be Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with Rev. Urbin Rupp officiating.

Burial will be in Mount Calvery Cemetery under the direction of the Greenwood funeral home at Cherokee. Rosary will be said Friday at 7 and 8 p.m.

Mr. Rupp was born July 17, 1913 in Cherokee. He married Lillian Johnson Feb 3, 1937 rural Cherokee

He was a farmer and also in the Cattle buying business.

Survivors are his wife, a daughter, Mrs. Roy (Mary Margaret) Messerole of Alta; two sons Royden of Cleghorn and Dale at home; seven brothers, Norbert of Spirit Lake, Raymond of Cherokee, Rev. Urbin of Dayton Ohio, Laurence of Marcus, Sylvester, Ralph and Floyd all of Cherokee; four sisters, Mrs. Max (Florence) Seeley of Storm Lake, Sister Mary Christina of Detroit, Sister Mary Catherine of Omaha and Mrs. Randall (Monica) Sawyer of Council Bluffs and six grandchildren.
