SUDDEN DEATH OF MRS. W. GIFFORD - Pioneer Woman Passes Away Tuesday Afternoon at Home in Aurelia - Funeral Today

Mrs. W.O. Dailey was called to Aurelia Tuesday by a message announcing the sudden death of her sister, Mrs. William Gifford, whose death came without warning as a result of a stroke of apoplexy. Mrs. Gifford was 57 years, 4 months and 24 days of age, and had been a resident of Cherokee county for more than a half century, coming to the county with her parents in the 60's. For many years she resided in Liberty and Spring townships, but tow years ago moved with her husband to Aurelia.

Funeral sevices will be held from the home in Aurelia this afternoon, conducted by Rev. Baier, pastor of the Christian church.
