Susan Lockard Bugh was born In
Sussex. county, New Jersey, Jan. 24,
1824, died Sept. 6, 1905, in her 81st
year. Deceased has been a resident of
Cherokee for thirty-seven years. She
was the mother of thirteen children,
eight of whom survive her. The fun-
eral services wee conducted from the
Baptist church Saturday at 2 p. m.
Mrs. Bugh was a member of the Ad-
ventist church. Rev. Hupp preached
the sermon from the text of her own se-
lection, John 5:28-9. Interment was
made in Oak Hill cemetery.
