Robert Earl Bugh, 77, of
Carroll and formerly of Ankeny,
Iowa, died at the Carroll Health
Center in Carroll on October 9,
1999 at 6 a.m. following a long
illness. He had been at the
Carroll Health Center since May
22,1998.

There will be no visitation
and a service will be held at a
later date at the convenience of
the family. Arrangements were
made by the Dahn and
Woodhouse Funeral Home of
Carroll.

He was born on July 29,
1922 at Cherokee, Iowa, the son
of Earl and Lulu Foust Bugh. As a
young boy he attended Meriden
High School and graduated in
1940, then attended Chillicothe
Business College. He was a veter-
an of WWII, having served from
1941 to 1943. He was married to
Bernice Elizabeth Brown on
January 5, 1942 at Des Moines,Iowa.
The greater part of his life
had been lived in the Des Moines
area. He was a self-employed
salesperson for 32 years. He was a
member of the Windsor Heights
United Methodist Church of Des
Moines, the Albert Pike Masonic
Lodge #303 of Wichita, Kansas,
and the Scottish Rite, Abdalla
Shrine of Overland Park, Kansas.
Survivors include a daughter,
Susan Mueller and her husband
John of Carroll; a son Ron Bugh
and his wife Cindy of Olathe,
Kansas; a sister Arlene Pinkerton
of Quimby, Iowa, and a brother
Dale Bugh of Quimby; 3 grand-
children: Robert Scott Bugh,
Sonja Bernice Mueller and Jared
John Mueller, and I great grand-
child Wyatt Bugh.

He was preceded in death by
his parents and his wife, Bernice,
in 1980.
