Cherokee Times- May 19, 1958

Mrs. Sadie Pelton, 85, died at 6 am, Saturday, May 17 after an illness of several months.
She had lived in Cherokee since 1910. Her home was at 600 E. Spruce St.
She was preceded in death by her husband, T.L. Pelton, on March 24, 1938.
Her survivors include 2 sons, Lester T. Pelton of Sioux City & Jack of Cherokee, 2 daughters, Mrs. Cecil Gano of Sioux City & Mrs. Glenn Champion of Cherokee; 3 granddaughters, 5 great-grandsons & 1 great- granddaughter.
Funeral services were held today at 2pm from Boothby Funeral Home with the Rev. J.E. Feller officiating. Burial was in Oak Hill Cemetery.
