Mrs. Floyd E Knox

MARCUS - Mrs. Dessa Knox, 78, of Marcus, died Wednesday morning in Cherokee. Born Dec. 17, 1888 at Ute, she was married to Floyd E. Knox at Sioux City August 1915.

Preceding here in death was her husband on Nov. 11, 1939 and a son, James F. Knox in April 1945 while in active duty with the US Navy.

Surviving are a son, Jack E. Knox of Minneapolis; two grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. James Robustelli, Chicago.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 3 p. m. from Nelson Funeral Home at Marcus with Rev. Robert Truitt of Grace Methodist Church officiating. Burial is to be in Marcus-Amherst Cemetery.
