Funeral services for Mrs. Monrad Paulson were held Monday morning from St. Paul's Lutheran Church with Pastor E. J. Wehrspann officiating.

Mrs. Paulson, who had been in ill health for some time, passed away at a Rochester, Minnesota, hospital early Friday morning, August 7, 1970. Burial, with the Wharton Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements, was in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. H. H. Deyloff, Henry Anderson, Ralph Flagman, John Christensen, Edmund Radke, and William Whitney served as attendants.

A daughter of Henry and Louisa Ruebsam, Edna Rose Paulson was born on September 20, 1910, at Lake Wilson, Minnesota, and was baptized there on December 11, 1910. She was confirmed in the Lutheran Church at Slayton, Minnesota.

On May 25, 1936, she married Monrad Paulson, and the couple made their home in Aurelia.

Mrs. Paulson is survived by her husband, Monrad; her mother, Mrs. Louisa Ruebsam, of Minneapolis, Minnesota; a brother, Elmer Ruebsam, of Balaton, Minnesota; and three sisters: Mrs. Donald Peterson, of Osakis, Minnesota, Mrs. Evelyn Jaqua, of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, and Mrs. Thomas Rule, of Minneapolis.
