Jessie, the 9-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Philander Bennett died last Monday morning. The child had been sick for some time, but was supposed to be out of danger. The day before her death she rode out in the country, but grew worse soon after her return and died about five o'clock the next morning as a result of a throat trouble which had caused her much suffering during her illness.
