Janet (Clark) Lockwood, 70, of Gulf Breeze, Fla. passed away on Monday, Jan. 5, 2009. A memorial service was held at the Community of Christ Church in Cherokee on January 11.

Janet was born May 18, 1938 in Sioux City to Roger and Kathryn (Godfrey) Clark.

She graduated from Washta Community School in 1955, and was a member of the United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Roger and Kathryn, one brother, Roger (Tom) Clark, one sister Susan (Clark) Winters and one brother--in--law, Ronald A Johnson.

Survivors include her husband, Theordore R Lockwood; two sons, Steven and Gary and their spouses; one daughter, Laura and her spouse; six grandchildren; four sisters, Rosalie (Dale) Hunwardsen; Kay (Lowell) Thomsen; Mary Johnson and Nancy (David) Nielsen; one brother, Russell (Jane) Clark ; one sister-in-law, Betsy Clark; and many nieces and nephews.
