Amanda Helena (Mohr) Hansen, age 100, passed away on Wednesday; February 12, 1992 at the Plymouth Manor Care Center in LeMars.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday; February 15, 1992 at 1:30 p.m. at the Presbyterian United Church of Christ in Le Mars. Reverend Robert Grupp will officiate. Visitation will be after 2:00 p.m. on Friday; February 14, 1992 with the family present from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m.. Interment will be at the Memorial Cemetery in LeMars.
She was born on May 1, 1891 in Adrian, Minnesota to Herman Mohr and Margaretha (Ohrt) Mohr. She married Hans C. Hansen on June 21, 1910 in Worthington, Minnesota. She was a member of the Presbyterian United Church of Christ. She lived at Plymouth Manor Care Center since 1988.
She is survived by one son, William and his wife, Ruth Hansen of Sioux City; four daughters, Margaret Rubbert of Cherokee; Helen Hansen of LeMars; Dorothy and her husband Ray Lee of Sheldon; Donna and her husband Arlen Lucken of Akron; nine grandchildren, 16 great- grandchildren and eight great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1969, three sons, two sisters, two brothers and one grandson.
