Barbara A. Miller, 47, of Sutherland, died on Saturday, June 28, 2008 in the Cherokee Regional Medical Center, following a one-year illness.

Memorial services were held on July 3 at the First Baptist Church in Cherokee. Pastor Larry Nilson officiated. Burial will be in Sutherland at a later date. Greenwood Funeral Home in Cherokee is in charge of arrangements.

Barbara was born April 5, 1961 in Le Mars, to Paul and Emma (Wipf) Wollman.

She attended school in Cherokee, graduating from Washington High School in 1980, then went to work for K-Products in Marcus, IBP in Storm Lake., and currently with housekeeping at the Best Western La Grande Hacienda in Cherokee. On April 15, 1987, Barbara married Richard Miller in Cherokee. She was very devoted to her family and she also enjoyed quilting and canning.

She was preceded in death by a stillborn child and by her mother, Emma Wollman, on 3/23/2008.

Survivors include her husband; sons, Jonathan Lee Miller, and his special friend, Shelby Chester, of Sutherland; Zacharia Eliah Miller, of Sutherland; a daughter, Richelle Ann Miller, of Sutherland; her father, Paul Wollman, of Cherokee; brother, Paul Wollman, Jr., and his special friend, Suzy, of Merrill; and sisters Margy Bollinger and Darlene Morris, of Larrabee;and Kathy Peterson and her husband, Bob, of Cherokee; and many nieces and nephews
