Lynda L. Collins, 62, of Quimby, passed away Wednesday morning, March 5, 2008 at her home in Quimby.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, March 8, at 10:30 a.m. at the Pilgrim Lutheran Church in Quimby. Pastor Don Meyer officiated. Burial was in the Quimby Cemetery. The Boothby Funeral Home in Cherokee was in charge of arrangements.
Lynda was born on May 25, 1945 in Jackson, Minn. to Frank & Mildred (Miller) Admire. She graduated from Willow Community School in 1963. She was married to Chan Collins. Lucy worked at Tyson Foods in Cherokee for many years. She had been a resident of Quimby practically all her life, and was a member of the Pilgrim Lutheran Church, where she had been the church organist for many years.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by one son, Albert Collins and his wife Michelle of Ponca, Nebraska; three grandchildren: Mickennen Blackwell, Elyssa and Braelyn Collins; and one brother, Wayne Admire of Washta.
