1911-2007 REDIG FUNERAL HOME

Funeral services for Catherine Lucile Wilson, 96, of Aurelia, will be 10 :30 A.M. , Tues. Nov. 13, 2007, at the First United Methodist Church in Aurelia.; with Pastor Harold Werley officiating. Burial will be in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Aurelia. Redig Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Catherine died Sat. Nov. 10, 2007 at the Sunset Knoll Care and Rehab Center in Aurelia where she had been a resident since Apr. 7th. 1999.

Catherine Lucile Wilson was born Apr. 6, 1911 in Washington, Ind. , the daughter of Elijah H. and Anna D . (Roll) Robinson. She attended school in Washington, Ind., BeeBee, AR. and from 5th. grade on in Glendale, Ind. graduating with the class of 1929. On Aug. 14, 1929 she married Curtis R. Scales at Alfordsville, IN. They had 3 sons, Darrel, Royce, and Donald.

On Dec. 26, 1952, she married Harry R. Wilson of Aurelia. After moving to Aurelia she worked at several odd jobs, and then worked at the Mental Health in Cherokee until she retired in 1973.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church ; Pythian Sisters, Embroidery Club, Senior Citizens, and a past member of the Federated Womans Club.

Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband Harry on July 23, 1991, stepdaughter Lottie M. Sweet, step-grandson Sam Sweet, 3 brothers, Maurice, Walter, and Ellis Robinson, and 2 daughters-in-law, Camilla Scales and Carla Scales.

Survivors include 3 sons, Darrel Scales of Indianapolis, IN, Royce and his wife Mickey Scales of Stanger, CA, and Don Scales of Hot Springs, AR
