Funeral rites were held Saturday for Mrs. Elizabeth Kohn, 87 at the Immaculate Conception church at Cherokee. Burial was in Mount Calvary Cemetery. Mrs. Kohn lived in Cherokee county for 66 years and in Cherokee the last 28 years. She was married to Peter Kohn on November 18, 1878 at Shakopee, Minn.

Survivors are four daughters, Kathryn Kohn, Mrs. John H. Rupp, Mrs. J. T. Peters, Elizabeth Kohn all of Cherokee; Six sons, John J. of Cherokee, Frank of Quimby, Peter of Alta, Charles of Marcus, William and Arthur of Cherokee: two brothers, Peter Fischer, Redwood Falls, Minn. and W. L. Fischer, Silverton, Ore., one sister Mrs. Rosa Knauf, Portland, Ore. 16 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
