Edythe G. Jacobe, 80, of Long Beach, Calif., formerly of Cherokee, died on June 29, 2007. Services were held on July 3 in Long Beach. Condolences may be sent to Neil Jacobe, 4339 Patero Way, Long Beach CA. 90815.

Edythe was born in Cherokee to Dewey and Gertrude Kennedy on Dec. 29, 1926.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters; Margart Kennedy and Jean Howell.

She is survived by her husband Neal; sons Dennis and Randy; daughter Liane; nine grandchildren; brothers Tom Kennedy; Mike Kennedy; sister Mary Lou Grigsby; Lynn Schmillen; Karen Pletchett and many nieces and nephews.
