Susan Glouser

Susan Glouser, 56, of Cherokee, Iowa, died Saturday, June 2, 2007, at the Cherokee Regional Medical Center, following a lengthy illness.

Memorial services will be Saturday June 9, 2007, at 11:00 A.M. at Greenwood Funeral Home, Cherokee, Iowa. Rev. Ray Hampton will officiate. Online condolences may be left at www.greenwoodfuneral.com

Susan was born October 10, 1950 in Carroll, Iowa, to James and Mildred (Buddin) Glouser. She attended school in the Cherokee, Iowa school system. Susan worked for Gregg’s Nursing Home from 1965-1974. She also had worked for the Cherokee Mental Health Institute as a kitchen worker and later at the Happy Chef restaurant as a dishwasher. She enjoyed traveling, fishing, horses, and going to the casinos.

Survivors include sisters, Linda Joy, of Hollywood, Florida and Jill Batz, of Des Moines, Iowa; brothers, Mike Glouser, and his wife, Katie, of Cherokee, Iowa; Jeff Glouser, of Salt Lake City, Utah; Eric Glouser, of Boise, Idaho; nephews, Billy and Jeremy Glouser; a special friend, Joe Eyer, of Cherokee, Iowa.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother (James Glouser)
