Irma Marion Karohl, 91, died Jan. 28, 2007 at Dillon Living Center, Hutchinson, Kan. Cremation has taken place and no services are planned. Private inurnment will be held later this spring at Oak Hill Cemetery, Cherokee.

She was born August 30, 1915 in Cherokee, to Walter and Delia Champion Stieneke. A longtime Omaha, Neb. resident moving to Hutchinson in 2004, Irma was a homemaker.

She was a member of Rockbrook United Methodist Church in Omaha. She was also a member of Order of the Eastern Star.

April 12, 1942 she married Edward W. Karohl at Rock Island, IL. He died Dec. 22, 2005.

Other survivors include her children and their spouses - Rev. Richard and Diane Karohl, Aurora, Neb.; Virginia and Tom Hymer, Hutchinson; Brother, Dale Stieneke, Cherokee; Sister, Mary Alice Jacobs, Halstead, Minnesota; four grandchildren, David and Wendy Hymer, Dianne and Sid Eells, Luke Karohl, Wendy and Josh Wickstrom; five great grandchildren, Azarah, Allison, McLain, Jake and Mallory.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Harland and a sister, Valley Fern Stieneke.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Rockbrook United Methodist Church, 9855 W. Center Road, Omaha, NE 68124
