CHEROKEE, Iowa -- Joseph M. "Joe" Kastengren, 84, of Cherokee died Monday, Jan. 29, 2007, at the Veteran's Administration Hospital in Sioux Falls, S.D.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Cherokee. Burial will be in Afton Township Cemetery. Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday, with the family present 6:30 to 8 p.m., at Boothby Funeral Home in Cherokee.
