Sibyl D. Wadsley, age 92, of Whitewater, WI, formerly of Cherokee, died on Monday, Jan. 15, 2006 at the Williams Bay Care Center, in Williams Bay, WI. Memorial services will be held at the Lutheran Church of the Cross, 1701 8th St. S/W, Altoona, 50009 at 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 3, 2007.

She was born March 6, 1914 at Humboldt to Hugh and Hazel (Lock) Westfall. She was united in marriage to Wayne Wadsley at Cherokee. Wayne died in 1989. Sibyl was employed as a waitress for much of her life.

She is survived by her children: Billy Joe and wife Joan Wadsley of Nashville, Tenn.; Sherry and husband Lloyd Trupe of Eldorado, Kan.; Michael and wife Jill Wadsley of St. Paul, Neb.; Rick and wife Jane Wadsley of White Water, Wisc.; and Maralee and husband Glen Ladwig of Savage, Minn.; 12 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.

Sibyl was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and a son Gerald Wadsley in 1995.
