Fred A. Daniels JR., 38, died Tuesday, Nov, 17 in Des Moines after a long illness.
He was born June 14, 1921 to Fred Sr. and Blanche (Anderson) Daniels in Aurelia, Ia. He was a graduate of Aurelia High School and Iowa State University. He was a veteran of WWII serving in the U.S. Navy for 3 1/2 years.

For the past 8 years he had lived in Des Moines ,being employed there as an engineer for the Iowa Power and Light Co..
He was a member of Moingona Masonic Lodge and of the Order of Eastern Star, also Knox Presbyterian Church of Des Moines.
Survivors include his wife, Virginia; a son, Fred Daniels III, and a daughter , Juliann; His mother, Blanche Daniels of Aurelia and a brother, Arthur Daniels of Aurelia.
Funeral services were held Fri. Nov 20 at 2:00 p.m. from the Wharton Funeral Home at Aurelia. Burial was in Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Aurelia.
