Mrs. Fred (Blanche) Daniels, 94, of Aurelia Ia., died early Fri., Mar. 17 in Sioux Valley Memorial Hospital, Cherokee Ia.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church in Aurelia. The Rev. Ron Kitterman will officiate and burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Aurelia, under the direction of the Wharton Funeral Home.
Blanche was born Apr. 16, 1894 to Robert and Clara (Ogle) Anderson in Afton township. She taught rural school for 7 years. On Sept. 10, 1919 she married Fred Daniels SR. at Storm Lake, Ia. They spent all their married life in Aurelia. He died Dec. 16, 1957.She served for 30 years with the Pleasant Hill Cemetery Assn, 33 years as Communion Steward at the First United Methodist Church, was a charter member of the WSCS and also a long time member of the American Legion Aux..
Survivors include a son, Arthur Daniels and a daughter-in-law Mrs. Fred (Virginia) Daniels Jr., both of Aurelia; two grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by Her parents, a daughter, Betty in 1929, a son Fred Jr. in 1959, and 6 brothers, Sam, Guy, Floyd, Art, Ben, and Walter Anderson.
